Craig Osborn starts with ... Hi, I have a young avocado planted 6 months ago. It looked sick so I dug it up and found the roots were infected with mealybug. I removed the mealybugs from the roots and re-planted the plant. Which readily available systemic insecticide(s) applied to the leaves will destroy the mealbugs on the roots? How often should this be applied and at what concentration should this insectcicde be used?
