Fruitylicious1 says... Hi Atif Your guava is being attacked by algal leaf and fruit spot (cephaleuros virescens). Symptoms: 1. On leaves - the spots may vary from specks to big patches which crowded or scattered. 2. On immature fruits - the lesions are nearly black. As fruit enlarges, lesions get sunken and get cracked frequently on older blemishes as a result of enlargements of fruits, lesions are usually smaller than leaf spots. Causes: 1. Mostly due to high temp and high humidity especially after rain. I can see from the picture that your guava is very near under the gutter of a roof. It might be getting splashes of water during rain periods exacerbating the humid and damp conditions that your guava is in. There might be a poor air circulation issue because your guava is up against a fence and shaded by a nearby building. If the tree is being splashed by water during rain periods from the nearby gutter or roof, you can cover the guava with clear plastic to avoid the H2O spray. There is not much you can do about this. The fence and structure is already there before the guava. Solution: 1. Remove infected leaves and fruits to avoid spreading the fungi. 2. You can spray the tree with Bordeaux mixture fungicide. You can make your own if you want. It's just a mixture of copper sulphate, lime and water or you can buy a ready made one in your local nursery or hardware store.
