Stone Pine

I received three stone pines about 2 weeks ago from Queensland. The leader of the plants has a strange growth at the tip, unlike the other branch tips.

What or why is this? ANd will the leader continue to grow or should i remove it and train another leader? The pictures attached explain what i'm talking about.

Hi Bobby, that's what the pines around here look like when they are getting ready to push out new growth.

Hi Bobby, I've done one of them as a Bonsai. They do that all the time,Absolutely Nothing to worry about! It's Only 'New Growth'. .... There's another variety of pine that does that when it's forming a Pine cone, but that's a totally Different type of plant! ,,, It's only New Growth.
