Hi Vanessa,
I can help with the feijoas as I have both the Triumph and the Mammoth.....Triumph needs Mammoth as a pollinator, and Mammoth is partially self fertile, but will fruit better with any other variety.
I have a low chill "Sunshine" pear and have also not been able to find any info about it at all.

Thanks amanda. From reading some of your posts it sounds like you have way more challenges than me, and are doing extremely well. I haven't had any fruit off the feijoas yet, as they have only been in for a year, but will let you know about the pulp, as soon as I get fruit. The info I got about pollinating was from the nursery I bought them from. I did have 3 un-named cuttings (from a farmers market) before those, but after being in for over 5 years and never even having 1 flower, I pulled those out and replaced with the mammoth and triumph.

That's a good tip for me, thanks paula-f! I have 4 un-named one's along the drive and they have been in 3 yrs and done nothing too! Water too precious to waste on any sulky plants here ;)
I really like a good feijoa but they are $1.25+ here (each)... a bit luxurious!

Anyone has any insights on what, where bonza came from? Basically more details? I got one in a flash of 'brilliance', thinking it will pollinate my tropical nashi, which by the way has flowered in the 2 last spring but no fruit.
