Hi
I’m looking for a small shrub or clumping grass to break up clay soil and stabilise some banks. I’ve layered thick mulch over the area. Has anybody had positive results using vetiver grass?
Thanks, ean

I personally have not used it but it has a very vigorous root system so it would be good at stabilisation. The native lomandras would too, for this reason. As to breaking up clay, probably not but it would certainly grow alright in it. Hope this helps
