What is best treatment for my yellow coconut tree

My young yellow dwarf coconut tree shows Brown scales and yellow and Brown spots on the tips of the leafs. What is the best pesticide to spray it with? Cheers

Hello Nancy, brown palm scale, best thing is just spray with white oil. Brown spots nothing serious just a bit of cold damage it will grow out of it as the weather warms up.

Thank you Brandon, your advise has been very helpful. I will use some white oil and it is good to know I do not have to worry too much about the brown spots. I realise a coconut palm is not a very common fruit tree to grow at the Sunshine Coast but I am keeping my hopes up and am enjoying the challenge:) Cheers, Nancy
