Catty starts with ...
Some of our friends just came back from Thailand, and had this picture with them. Could anyone help us out with what kind of fruit this is?

It looks like a Cerbera odollum.There are a few species around the south Pacific that have floating fruits like coconuts.Cassowary plum is a blue fruited species in the genus that is around my area.I would not try to eat it.

yeah, I'm with Mike on that one.
Cerbera sp. for sure.
Often refered to as 'Sea Mango'
But as with many (but not all) members of the Apocynaceae family the plant is very toxic.
