What Macadamia Variety to chose? (forum)

mims starts with ...
Hi, I would like to plant 3 macadamia trees, but don't know which varieties to chose.
My criteria is:
1) High Yield
2) Overall plant Health and resistance to pests and diseases
3) Low Maintenance

As I'm looking to grow 3 of them I would prefer a mix of different varieties, if possible.

Many Thanks

What kind of weather do you have over there?

Macadamia young trees are not so much into cold weathers

I have an A16 against a big double brick wall and a G6 Home Beauty here in coldish Melbourne at present - they grow slowly but ok - The G6 doesnt like winds with immature long leaves but as its getting taller the smaller less prickly leaves are less affected. The A16 does grow a bit faster and also have a Daleys dwarf flowering well now in 500mm pot after 4 years or so - Ive chosen smaller growing varieties for in the ground - they have many Macca farms around your way mims.
