a tree with edible seeds that's been known in Aust variously as Pachira insignis ; Pachira aquatica and Bombacopsis glabrum.
whatever the current name, and I haven't kept up with it and I know there are a few simmilar, but slightly different species, they have edible seeds.
common names for it are 'Malabar chestnut' or 'Guyana Chestnut'.
They're from Cent. America originally so 'Guyana Chestnut' is probably a better of those two names for it
Can eat the seeds raw, but i think they're really nice if sprouted overnight , like you would with mungbeans, and stir-fied.
