Can anyone identify this plum tree? I had a plum tree in the yard where I used to live (in the great southern of WA). It looked to be at least 25 years old. It had small, perfectly round fruit with a diametre of about an inch and a half. The fruit were dark red outside and light red inside with a seed that was small enough to swallow easily. The harvest time was mid december to mid january. There were so many fruit that even with the birds having their share we were still giving plums away by the bucket full. There were no other plum trees in our yard, which makes me think it was a self-pollinator. Another thing is that it suckered like crazy, but the suckers had the exact same beautiful fruit on them as the original tree, so we let them go as they wished. I would love to have a fruit tree the same as that one, I cant beleive I never took any photos of it! Does anyone know the name of this plum tree?

That looks pretty similar, I will have to have a look at one up close, but it looks very alike. Thanks.
