Hi, I live on the Mid North Coast NSW. I'm currently growing jalopeno, cayenne, habenero and hungarian wax chillies. The end of the chillies is being eaten by something, maybe a bird. I understand that chillies can suffer from bloom rot but there definitely seems to be bite marks in the fruit. what could it be??

One year rats ate my chillies. Could be the cause if they are being eaten from underneath.

Thank you, Julie. Rats are a possible answer but some of the chillies are over 18 inches off the ground.
