Mariposa and Satsumi are Japanese plums but I believe they fit the bill for your specs.

Hi.
The only red fleshed plums found commonly in Australia are the Satsuma, Mariposa (improved larger satsuma) and Mariposa (egg/oval shaped). Two different plums are sold under the name Mariposa in Australia and it sounds like your after the Mariposa (egg/oval shaped). Remember that blood plums need to be cross-pollinated to produce fruit. You will have to plant a different variety with it. Blood plums are cross-pollinated with Santa Rosa or Flavour Supreme. You're going to have to do some further research.
Goodluck,
GG

Ps
You can get away with planting both trees in the same hole to save space. Just make sure one doesn't outcompete the other.
