I had my plum tree treated for white ants five months ago, is it safe to eat the plums?

I would say so jean. White ants eat the cellulose in wood not the heartwood so providing the foliage & plums are healthy I would say yes! To be totally at ease why not contact the exterminators?

Probably not . Often permethrin or another one of the semi- synthetic pyrethroids are used and are not suitable for ingestion . Ask what was used.
