White grub in Yuzu soil: Neem oil?

Yuzuwarrior starts with ... The soil in my Yuzu pot has dozens of white grubs which keep coming back despite me picking them out. Is it safe for plant growth to use diluted neem oil solution in the soil to try and kill them? Or does someone have a better idea? Fruiting is likely many years away.
