Pecan3 - Mark, I'm not in Melbourne, so can't comment on that. But Pecans grow well in the Perth hills, where we have neither deep river soil or humidity. Our summers are hot and dry and hills soil can vary. I have two which grow well, but I gave up watering..Liked Answer 3018 days 22hrs
Pecan3 - We're in Geelong and have a very large pecan tree, it does produce nuts tho they're small.. About 3/4 the size. Also need a white sheet under the tree in Autumn to gather as they fall or you'd never see them due to shade and debris..Liked Answer 3018 days 22hrs
