Lucinda1's Edible Backyard
Tamarillo - Red (Seedling) 8/10 Lucinda1's Edible FruitsUpdate: 5750 days 3hrs Comments: - My little townhouse Peramculture garden is bursting with edible plants. One of my favourites is the tamarillo: I have three in the garden (doing very well, despite a severe frost a couple of months ago) and one in a pot (not doing so well). These very pretty trees tend to put on most of their leaves at one level, and so have a lovely shape, a gentle curve at the top of the canopy and red pendulous fruits hanging below it. They are pretty easy to grow, even though my place is a bit challenged with respect to sunlight, and always attract comments from visitors. Planted: 2008 Height 3 metres Growing: In the Ground First Fruited: 1 Years from purchase in pot Sun/Shade: Medium Sun Water Given in: Spring Organic Status:Organic Was this review helpful?
