While the tree may not produce fruit in colder regions, the leaves are quite cold hardy and can tolerate winter conditions. May require protection from frosts when young. Grew well in Autumn. Extensive frost damage in winter. All new buds are dead. Hoping for a revival in spring. Died at the end of summer
