This fruit tastes like a cross between a passionfruit & kiwi friut, very refreshing & best eaten straight from the tree. My children love taking them to school as the deep red colored fruit always attracts attention from other students & teachers!

This mango is well suited to our semi - tropical climate, as we are on the Atherton Tablelands 808m above sea level. The tree has fruited once before, with only a small amount of fruits. Like most mangoes they are easy to grow & need little care. A great looking tree & unusual tasting fruit.

You say that it is not affected by any pests, but do you have fruit flies in your area?
