Jaboticaba Large Leaf (Seedling) 9/10

Mindy1's Edible Fruits
Update: 2694 days 7hrs

Comments: - Wanted to try something different. Growing much faster than expected - think the secret is constant moisture. I use old plastic bottles with dripper like attachments to deliver a drip system in the pot constantly - quite a bit of new growth which has been great.

Jaboticaba - Grafted (Grafted) 10/10

JUJUBEFORSALEINMELBOURNE1's Edible Fruits
Update: 4931 days 8hrs

Comments: -

For best result, mulch heavily, needs acidic soil and plenty of water.
Camillia or Azaria fertiliser is recomended. For young tree I recomend dynamic lifter to speed up the growing process.
Flowers a couple of times a year but due to cold weather in Melbourne. Fruits only set in warmer months. It takes only a month from fruit set to mature.
These trees will fruit well in a group. Fruit well when giving lots of water

Lovely fruit very similar to Mangosteen in texture.

16/11/10: The plant has survived its first Melbourne Winter, and although there is no growth in height new leaves are forming on the branches. Very nice orangie bronze colour.
