Dwarf Avocado - Lamb Hass (A)

$79.00 ($59.00-$79.00 choose a size)

Larger and rounder than most other avocado varieties. It has a very dark, almost black skin that only gets darker as it ripens. The flesh is a pale green colour with a creamier consistency than the more common Hass and it has a slightly nutty and creamy taste. It has a medium-sized seed. Lamb Hass is a smaller tree that bears more fruit and it matures later in the season than regular Hass avocados. The symmetrical fruit has pebbly skin with green flecks.

Apricot - Glengarry

$42.95

Heavy cropping variety with small pale golden fruit and a slight blush. The tree is large, vigorous and heavy bearing. One of a few varieties that will crop in the subtropics.

Mango - Bowen Seedling

$24.75 ($17.75-$49.00 choose a size)

Most common variety grown with excellent quality fruit. Bowens are naturally polyembryonic hence are virtually true to type from seed. Cropping takes 3-4years, with identical fruit quality to grafted trees.

Loquat - Nagasakiwase

$40.95 ($40.95-$79.00 choose a size)

The best Japanese variety so far, it has deep orange flesh, high flesh/seed ratio and very sweet flavour. Earliest variety to ripen. Thinning fruit will enhance fruit size. The Nagasakiwase often has 2 crops a year in the subtropics. The first crop in April / May then again in August. We have found by cincturing in summer, the August crop has a much larger crop and better fruit size.

Soursop

$19.90 ($17.75-$49.00 choose a size)

The fruit is heart-shaped with a rough green skin and soft fleshy spines. The fresh meaty flesh is juicy and slightly acid producing a rich creamy thirst quenching juice. Superb when fruit is pureed with 1/3 of vanilla ice-cream. Also known as Graviola or Guanaban. Not suitable for temperate climates. But its more than just a sweet treat. Graviola has antimicrobial and antioxidant properties, too. This has led some scientists to explore graviola as potential treatment options for a range of serious illnesses, including cancer. Although some laboratory studies do indicate that graviola may have anticancer properties, there isnt any clinical evidence that graviola can treat or prevent cancer in humans.
