Loquat - Nagasakiwase

$39.00 ($39.00-$79.00 choose a size)

The best Japanese variety so far, it has deep orange flesh, high flesh/seed ratio and very sweet flavour. Earliest variety to ripen. Thinning fruit will enhance fruit size. The Nagasakiwase often has 2 crops a year in the subtropics. The first crop in April / May then again in August. We have found by cincturing in summer, the August crop has a much larger crop and better fruit size.

Nashi Pear - Nijisseiki

$44.00 ($39.00-$44.00 choose a size)

A heavy bearing variety. Medium sized round fruit of excellent eating quality with crisp, white flesh and yellowish-green, transparent skin and moderate sugar content. Will set fruit without pollination however the fruit is smaller.

Jakfruit - Tweed Crisp

$79.00

A Orange Crisp selection made by Bob Brinsmead at Tropical fruit world. A very promising selection, the best selection he has come across as a chance seedling. Highly accepted by the Asian community.

Custard Apple - Pinks Mammoth

$69.00

Has the delicious and melting taste of the sugar apple which makes it one of the most popular of the custard apples. As the name suggests the virtually seedless fruit is one of the largest. Top marks for quality, however a lower yield than the African Pride. Pinks Mammoth has a very large fruit size and high fruit quality. It is named after Mr Pink, the man who introduced it to Australia. When mature the tree produces significant yields. The foliage is delicate on young trees, and our potted plants are known for their older leaves to turn yellow and drop during transport to conserve energy. This is not a problem long term. With care and acclimatisation they will bounce back
