Sapodilla - Tropical

A Singapore variety to 4m tall. Flavour is very sweet like brown sugar with a less gritty texture than other varieties. Small to medium fruit size can depend on size of the crop, with light crops occurring. Sapodillas are highly prized in Asia with their sweet, brown-sugar, cinnamon flavoured fruit.

A vigorous selection from Queensland, with a dense and highly manageable canopy that can be pruned to keep it compact. Fruit average about 6kg and have deep orange aril flesh that is soft with a strong, sweet flavour and aroma. The arils are easily removed from the fruit. We will sell these seasonally as a grafted product or as a seedling product. See below for availability

Aurea produces a large elongated fruit of excellent quality. The fruit is delicious eaten fresh or with a little salt and lemon juice added. Canistels are often added to sweet custards or made into delicious eggnog-like milk shakes.
Finger Lime - Collette

Flavour is highly aromatic and has been rated as superior by Chefs. Fruit is highly ornamental, with its shiny black skin and as a cut fruit, as it has a dark lime green pulp. Displays well as a garnish, with the juice vesicles popping out on cutting and the fruit splitting open wide. Its wide shape facilitates scooping out the pulp with a teaspoon. Rind colour is black/purple at optimum maturity and pulp colour is a dark yellow/green. Mean fruit size is 50mm x 25mm. It is a mid to late season variety but bears fruit all year round.
