Dwarf Mulberry - Black

This mulberry has a very low chill factor making it ideal for our subtropical climate. Pruning after fruiting allows it to be kept under 3mtrs, and also encourages multiply cropping throughout the summer. It is best to pick the fruit when ripe, as it doesn't ripen further off the tree. A benefit of a mulberry tree is that the fruit ripens over an extended period of time unlike other fruit that often ripens all at once. The fruits of the black mulberry, considered the tastiest and most versatile of the mulberries are large and juicy with a good balance of sweetness and tartness. The fruit of the dwarf black mulberry is the same as that on the large black mulberry that we all know and love. The fruit is large, resembling a blackberry, sweet and luscious. Dwarf Apple Duo - Dorsett-Tropic Sweet

Two low chill apple varieties in one pot. Plant a pollinating pair in one hole and prune as if one tree. Golden skinned Dorsett Golden and red skinned Tropic Sweet, sweet apples suitable for fresh eating and cooking. Dorsett Golden is a golden skinned apple with a beautifully tangy, sweet flavour and Tropic Sweet has a red blush skin and sweet flavour, similar to the Johnathon. The subtropical varieties are best when eaten fresh off the tree, and not used for extended storage. You can grow in a large pot, as an espalier or in the ground. Duo plantings are perfect for small back yards. Prune regularly to maintain compact shape, taking all inward pointing branches out. Provide nutrition slightly more than for one tree. Suitable for warm temperate to subtropical climates. Protect trees from late frost if you are in a more temperate area.
Loquat - Nagasakiwase

The best Japanese variety so far, it has deep orange flesh, high flesh/seed ratio and very sweet flavour. Earliest variety to ripen. Thinning fruit will enhance fruit size. The Nagasakiwase often has 2 crops a year in the subtropics. The first crop in April / May then again in August. We have found by cincturing in summer, the August crop has a much larger crop and better fruit size.
Mulberry - White Shahtoot

Large, sweet fruit can reach up to 10cm in length. Delicious eaten fresh but can also be sundried and eaten as a sweet. Medium sized, spreading tree with a weeping habit, excellent shade tree. Birds love them too so make sure you cover them if you don't want to share. You can also get multiple crops by pruning immediately after your first crop.
Custard Apple - Paxton Prolific

A PBR selection of the popular Pinks Mammoth variety. It has a low seed count and excellent natural fruit set. This means that, unlike some other varieties, there is no need to laboriously hand pollinate each bloom to achieve a good harvest. Unpruned custard apples grow into very large trees. With dedicated, twice yearly pruning it is possible to restrict tree height and spread to 3-4m. This variety is subject to Plant Breeder Rights (PBR).The foliage is delicate on young trees, and our potted plants are known for their older leaves to turn yellow and drop during transport to conserve energy.
