The aroma of the fruits is similar to ruby grapefruit, and is perfect for cocktails and drinks, as well as cooking. I have my Bamboo, which I bought from Daleys Fruit, currently growing in mostly shade, as I have some shady space and wanted to fill it with something that I can harvest for use around the garden (looking to harvest longer shoots for stakes/framing, so I don't have to rely solely on my fruit trees at pruning time only, which is once a year). They have not only adapted to their new environment (in 30cm pots in the shade) but are thriving at the moment! Cheers Daley's!
