Lime - Australian Desert Abundance PBR

$89.00

Selection of unique native Lime from inland Australia, with great flavour and zing. "Abundance" is an earlier ripening cultivar with outstanding adaptation to heat and cold from its natural habitat. Trees grow to only 2.5m. Plants are thorny to prevent herbivores from browsing but top-most branches out of their reach are thornless and these quality grafted plants are produced from these thornless upper branches. From flowering to fruiting is generally only 3 months, making this a great backyard plant. This plant has Plant Breeder's Rights over it.

Mango - Kensington Pride

$79.00 ($74.00-$89.00 choose a size)

Grafted selection of the Australian renowned Bowen variety, excellent flavour, very juicy and aromatic. Most famous for not being too stringy. In cooler areas with wet spring weather, flowers and young fruitlets will fail and this can very much affect yield in those years. However sometimes you can prune off these flowers to force flowering and give it a second chance. Moderate susceptibility to Anthracnose and Black Spot. Average wt. 450gms. (Sams Selection)

Lemon Drop Mangosteen

Very attractive slow growing tree, with dark green leathery leaves. Native to wet forests of Central America.Oval shaped fruits are produced in summer reaching up to 2cm. The white pulp has a pleasant subacid aromatic flavour, with a similar flavour to the Achacha.Very ornamental making an excellent display potted plant. While the tree may not produce fruit in colder regions, the leaves are quite cold hardy and can tolerate winter conditions. May require protection from frosts when young. The tree hardy to most soil conditions and is not nutrient demanding. Featured in our newsletter

Frangipani Red

Keep them in crumbly, cacti type soil. In Winter, leave the watering to nature. Keep the root system warm but dry.
