Muscadine Grape - Adonis

$19.75 ($17.75-$79.00 choose a size)

Large ripe fruits (20-25mm) are golden bronze in colour, sweet and juicy with a delicious and distinctive fruity flavour. Highly disease resistant and should not require spraying making them ideal for coastal climates and the subtropics. This variety is owned by FAVGRO. The purchaser agrees that propagation of the vines for sale, without authorisation from the breeder is prohibited. They are vigorous vines and should not be planted where they can escape into native bushland, as they would quickly smother trees and shrubs around them.

Loquat - Nagasakiwase

$49.00 ($49.00-$79.00 choose a size)

The best Japanese variety so far, it has deep orange flesh, high flesh/seed ratio and very sweet flavour. Earliest variety to ripen. Thinning fruit will enhance fruit size. The Nagasakiwase often has 2 crops a year in the subtropics. The first crop in April / May then again in August. We have found by cincturing in summer, the August crop has a much larger crop and better fruit size.

Pandanus - Edible

$44.95 ($24.90-$69.00 choose a size)

Widely cultivated for use in Asian cooking and basket making. It has a nutty fragrance and is most commonly used in rice dishes or tied in a bundle and cooked with food. Also useful in flower arrangements. A low growing plant to 1m with long narrow blade like leaves and woody aerial roots. In tropical climates it can be grown as a marginal plant in dams and ponds, used as a bedding plant in tropical landscaping. Outside of the tropics, well worth trying as indoor plant in winter with a warm, sunny aspect. Allow the plant to dry out over the winter months.

Mandarin - Emperor

The fruit has a pale orange skin that is inclined to be puffy. Excellent flavour however the fruit can be prone to drying if harvest is delayed. Loose skin that is very easy to peel. Most popular mid season variety.

Grape - Ornamental

Fabulous Virus Vinifera aka Ornamental Grape. Fast growing and provides much needed shade on the North side of the house. We also planted at our rear deck on a purpose built pergola overlooking the pool area. Perfect shade for very hot summers.

Grape - Ornamental

Absolutely stunningly beautiful. Last year I planted 5 Vitis Vinifera along the North side verandah, they look amazing, beautiful and lush in the summer months and glorious autumnal rich colours. Next year they are going to look even better. At the back of the house, entertaining area we have built a pergola where we only recently planted 5 ornamental grapevines, it was a race to who would reach the top before the cooler weather sets in. We can't wait to be lunching under the grapevines.
