Dwarf Apple - Tropical Anna

Delicious crunchy apples similar to their cold climate cousins, Red Delicious, but only require a low amount of chill. On a semi dwarfing rootstock they are ideal for backyard plantings and container specimens. Anna will set some fruit on its own, an added bonus for small areas. Pollinate with Dorsett Golden or Tropic Sweet for greater fruit set. An apple best eaten fresh off the tree as they are not a storing apple.

This prostrate cultivar of Casuarina glauca, Swamp Sheoak, is popular plant with a character all of its own, with fine 'hairy' strands of evergreen cascading foliage. Use as a ground cover or feature plant in rockeries, where it will spread to 1m across but only 10 - 20cm high. Low maintenance, competes well with weeds.

Plum - Iluka Blood

Low chill Blood plum with juicy, sweet flesh right to the seed when ripe. Unique to Daleys. Skin is also sweet and mild. Self pollinating. 300-400 hours chill. Ripens January.

Lemon - Meyer

The popular Meyer is not a true lemon but likely to be a natural hybrid between a lemon and an orange. The lower acidity and reduced sourness makes it one of the most widely grown home-garden varieties. Very hardy and prolific. The fruits are a deep orange-yellow colour with thin skin and they are very juicy, making them perfect for use in dressings and marinades. The meyer is low in pectin.

Superior flavour, with smooth, creamy flesh and pear-shaped, green-skinned, fruits that are textured like hass. A vigorous variety that commences fruiting in its 2nd year. Self pollinating. H Jul - Dec This is a local selection with Hass and Sharwill as parents that was selected by Daleys and is proving an excellent backyard variety as well as being our nursery favourite.

Custard Apple - Geffner

Geffner is an Israeli cultivar with a moderate to heavy cropping capacity. The flavour is exceptionally good and although it performs well it's not superior to the African Pride. However it is known to be self pollinating and sets fruit every year. A very reliable tree that does not need much maintenance for home gardens.
