Large, round , thick skinned variety with a smooth, green skin. They have a mild to rich flavour and have a good storing ability once cut and placed in the fridge. They are also a great choice for using in salads as they tend not to go mushy as does a Hass when very ripe. H Aug - Dec

Loquat - Nagasakiwase

$54.00 ($54.00-$79.00 choose a size)

The best Japanese variety so far, it has deep orange flesh, high flesh/seed ratio and very sweet flavour. Earliest variety to ripen. Thinning fruit will enhance fruit size. The Nagasakiwase often has 2 crops a year in the subtropics. The first crop in April / May then again in August. We have found by cincturing in summer, the August crop has a much larger crop and better fruit size.

Fig Prestons Prolific

All three branches have died. Only 4 buds coming through from the main leader. Sets the plant back a year if not more.

Large tasty fruit, not too sweet, unlike some other varieties I have. Growing strongly and loves the heat! I expect big crops this year as the tree gets larger and better established.
