It has delicious fruit that ripen two weeks earlier than the Pink Lady but are similar in flavour. Grows well in all temperate climates of Australia. Partially self pollinating, planting with Granny Smith will improve fruit set. This variety is subject to Plant Breeder Rights.

Dwarf Persimmon - Fuyu (NA)

Fuyu is a semi-dwarf variety, well suited to growing in small backyards and can be kept to 2m with pruning. The fruit is large and flat, orange-red in colour with a sweet, mild flavour. Great eaten crunchy but just luscious when left to go soft. Besides producing delicious fruit, Persimmons are highly ornamental with their beautiful autumn foliage. Non astringent, so can be eaten when still hard. When young, protect from hot afternoon sun, and when dormant, from wet conditions. Seedless when grown on their own. If cross pollinating with another variety they can have seeds in the flesh as shown in the display picture.

Excellent, self-pollinating almond that bears heavy crops of soft-shelled almonds with a good, sweet flavour. The kernels are broad, full and oval in shape, they are mid season. The tree has an upright form and is a self pollinating large Papershell. Almonds require a climate with dry Summer/Autumn and cool winters.

Unlike the common green skinned varieties where the skin becomes very thin and hard to differentiate when biting into it. The Corella variety when ripe still has the sweet soft flesh but the skin remains hard and crunchy and it makes for a satisfying mouth feel with the crunchy tasty skin contrasting the very juicy sweet flesh.
