Dwarf Plum Gulf Gold Tree (G)

I decided on a dwarf so I can easily net when it fruits. Since putting in the ground it has doubled in size. I prepared a hole twice as deep and three times as wide as the plant. We have had extremely dry conditions here and soil is clay. For the hole I mixed even amounts of garden soil, sand, cow manure and the clay soil I took out. I also added gypsum, blood and bone. I watered in a good amount of seasol and covered the hole with straw . I waited a couple of weeks before planting.
