Mindy1 says... Looks like tip burn - generally caused by either over-fertilising or water that has been chlorinated (eg. tap water). Avocados are super sensitive to too much salt which both will create a build up of, particularly in pots. If it's from too much fertiliser, stop - and water a lot without letting the roots sit in water (avos are prone to root rot). If it's from chlorinated water, you can try either rainwater (if you have access to) or alternatively, water a lot to try and have the chlorine leached out. I've had the same problem before and unfortunately it can sacrifice flowers if there's too much tip burn as the plant will drop the leaves and put more energy into creating more leaves and less flowers, but it should survive.
