Bird netting (forum)

We want to start an orchard, however cockatoos and rosellas are a big problem here. If you don't net here the birds leave you with nothing.
We can erect the net later, but we must decide what sort of net we will put in place, because the layout of the orchard depends on it. We want to grow maybe 20+ trees, and some cane fruit depending on the costs of netting.
I have looked a bit into the netting possibilities. Our neighbours are throwing nets over the trees but this seems to me a very difficult task.
Of the more permanent structures I saw in the internet nets tightened over poles which seems to be a bit difficult to built. There is on structure which seams to be easy to erect: You drive starposts in the ground, and a net is tightened over it.
I would be grateful for ideas or experiences?

Have a lok at Vinenets in WA They are selling off cuts Go for knitted nets as cheap extruded nets don't last and snag on everything.Unless you have seriously deep pockets permanent nets on poles is not worth it.

It is as well the look of permanent nets which are a bit awful in a home garden.
Do you only throw the nets over the tree or do you make some sort of structure?
It would be nice building something which folds neatly up after using.

Have you considered espaliering the trees? You could then create a permanent structure and keep the trees within that flat structure and essentially

Bang in star pickets and bend black poly pipe over them as a support structure, do it North, East, South and West to make like a dome.

unfortunaely, no lotto!
ringelstrumpf that is a thing you can't buy at least not the real thing you have to knit it yourself.
I considered espaliering but my pruning knowledge is very underdeveloped.
I guess I will do the star post or simply throw over it version (the latter I will get in trouble with the bush carers)
