Blueberry burst & dwarf fruit trees and possums

I am wanting to purchase a blueberry burst and blueberry kisses but have an issue with possums and want to know what others do as also getting some other dwarf trees too. Any tips to rid possums or structures or nets to cover them with?

I also used to have trouble with brushtail possums, but because they are so territorial we decided to feed them regularly with spoilt fruit from greengrocers throw outs. They got tame & came down every night for a feed on a tray instead of our roses, rhubarb leaves & Grannie Smiths! There was never more than the resident family so that was good & they were fun to watch!
