In Sydney, Bowen/Kensington Pride mangoes do better than others. Can't help you with cherries but you do know you usually need two varieties for cross-pollination right?

The best readily available cherry is Lapins as it is quite low chill and self-fertile. Even better would be a Minnie Royal/Royal Lee double graft which should be available from Flemings next Spring.

I don't know much about mango. I got a dwarf Kwan from Forbidden Fruits Nursery and although it's too young to fruit it is supposed to be ideal for Sydney because of rain tolerance and disease resistance.
It is related to Nam Doc Mai but with much bigger fruit.
