Valhalla starts with ... Does anyone know if you can get the concord grape variety here in Australia? They are my favourite grape from the USA, and they're so good but it seems like you can't get them here. If anyone knows a similar tasting variety that would help too! Velella says... Sorry to be a wet blanket. I grew Concord for many years. Still have a vigorous vine Result………. Not worth growing. Inferior to any commercial variety. CaptainSlow says... I have some fox grapes, i took a bunch of cuttings off a vine a neighbor was pulling out. As best I can tell they are either concord or delaware, i wont know until they have fruited. Either way, I want them for wine anyway rather than eating. If you are close by i can hook you up.
