Does anyone have experience with this rare groundcover plant from Taiwan? Apparently very hardy and produces yellow fruit.

Tommoz,

I bought one from Neo. Pretty good seller, have bought a few things from his/her store. I'll let you know how I get along.

Thanks. One plant sold, likely a forumer, and so I snapped up the last one. Quite expensive but oh well. I suppose I could propagate it too.

Now to try and track down yellow raspberry 'Anne'...

Tommoz,

that would have been me. They fruit infrequently apparently. I'm taking a punt on this one, we'll see how it works out. Have a spare bath tub I'll try it in.

I had one I a big pot. They spread fast and grow like mad. Ended up using round up on them as they got out of hand. Never got a fruit from them. Would be good if you had a contained space for them. They are really tough.

If you had it in a pot then how did it get out of control? Was it in the sun, did you water it? Where did you get it from?

It is prostrate. It grew over the sides of the pot in weeks and rooted in blue metal in a rain shadow, where it remained for a while until I had to spray it. It's not a pot plant as it grows over the sides of pots very quickly.

Hanging planter, maybe?

You say it never fruited? How long did you keep it before ripping it out? I did read that it fruits irregularly....maybe irregularly is a euphemism for never.
