David starts with ... I recently bought a drumstick tree from you guys (about 6+ months back I think?) It seems to me that every time the weather gets chilly or there is a frost, the leaves then all fall off. The leaves come back until the next lot of chilly weather and then they fall off again. Not sure if this is a silly question - are these trees sensitive to this kind of weather and does this mean it is never going to grow? Any suggestions apart from sticking it in a green house (which I dont have or want). | About the Author davidddd Melbourne 2nd January 2009 10:41am #UserID: 1807 Posts: 2 View All davidddd's Edible Fruit Trees |

juanita says... Hi David, My potted drumstick tree goes to the same growing process like yours..It grows vertically (upward) & not bushy...In winter i stick mine in an unheated mini gh...Now it's sitting outside under the eaves facing north where it gets plenty of sunshine & heat from the brick wall. | About the Author juanita melbourne 19th January 2009 12:21am #UserID: 702 Posts: 122 View All juanita's Edible Fruit Trees |
