I think PBR dwarf is the name of the one developed by the brazil ag. dept.They fruit quickly like in 3 or 4 years and stay only around 3m max.

Mike , would not trust any info from that site .. fruit in 3 years ! no way .. 3 years from planting out an advanced seedling ..at 3m would have very little trunk . I know some very mature trees around here in the wet tropics that still have not fruited . info on my link from a mate who lives in Manaus . Not someone who is trying to sell seeds .

Trikus this is a more reliable source.I was told the normal ones are not worthwhile for many reason with the white acai and para dwarf well worthwhile.

My Para Dwarf has been planted for 3 years , and was an advanced seedling 2m + tall when planted .
Just heard from a grower in Fiji who has got his first crop in 6 years from seed.
Maybe in ideal Amazon growing conditions it is possible for fruit in 3 years from seed , but even in wet tropical Tully I am still waiting , but not for much longer I am hoping .
