jakfruit etiquette says... I have a few fig seedlings here from a blue black fig. 1 is identical, 2 are grey whitish but similar, 1 is better than original, 2 or more are duds with non sweet floury large figs that taste a bit like some of the native figs. They might be ok as vegetables. There are other figs around town in odd places, probably seedlings, seem to have ok figs. Most of mine seemed to fruit at 2 to 3 M tall. Not all fruit each year, but are neglected also. Any chance yours are root suckers ??
