If it was a seedling it may never get much fruit. Where did you get it?

Have a look to see if you can find the graft. If you can, it isn't a seedling tree.Just trying to guess what might be wrong!

You wont ever buy a grafted or seedling fig, they are all grown from cuttings. 3 years isn't a very long time for something to get big enough to start fruit properly. My Figs didn't do much until 2 years ago and I planted them in 2000, they are about 15 foot tall now

Thanks Jason. I guess I was thinking of a friend with the same complaint, but I'm pretty sure she had a self-sown seedling.
I think she grafted another fig onto it successfully.

Yeah you can find seedlings and graft them easily but everything at the nurseries is cutting grown. I pruned one of mine a couple of years ago and stuck all the bits in the ground, I got 100% strike on them, they are still there in the weeds, maybe I should do some fig grafting experiments on them

My two brown turkey fig trees didnt give me any figs the first year becos they were still establishing in their pots and I was new to taking care of figs.
However both fruited well the second spring/summer/autumn.
I think I dont see graft I think they are from cuttings? One is just a cheap no brand and one from Flemings. However the cheap one produces equally delicious figs and even grow much better!
I do have a question. The cheap brown turkey fig tree has got a sucker growing. Should I rid it? Or can i use it to get a new plant? What should I do to start a new plant from it? Thanks!
