Can you please recommend a fruit tree that can be planted in a damp area in winter, but sunny all other times. I live in melbourne. Thanks

What is damp? Is there shade or is it the soil? I would dig some holes at least 30 cm deep and wait for rain and look how it drains. You can always hill for planting the tree. Plums apparently can stand a bit of wet feet.
