Scott starts with ...
Has anyone used Hydrogen Peroxide as a fertilizer foliar spray or pesticide on fruit trees. Using 35% Hydrogen Peroxide mixture rate is 3 tablespoons to 5 gallons.
Cheers

I've used it a few times as an additive to foliar sprays, and to water into soil around plants that have been a bit waterlogged.

also as an additive to agar when growing mushroom cultures to help reduce contamination by molds.
Mostly I've used the 6% H2O2

Wow - I would never have thought of using it that way guys....Speedy - did it help the water logged plants do u think?
Clever application, if it did!?
Does it help with infections on trees? Would it be something worth trying for powdery mildew, for eg?

Yeah, it seemed to help (provide a little Oxygen to the roots) ,
hard to say without thorough testing, I've only used it a few times like that.

yea..u would need to be careful not to destroy soil bacteria, etc, at the same time I would guess. It can be pretty potent stuff.
It would be interesting to test it's effect on p.mildew on curcubits though..and easy to do.

I know a few blondes who think its amazing stuff,:) & if you are allergic to additives in wine there are little phials of HP available to drop into each bottle after opening.
Food grade HP is often used by vets to treat animals so why not plants?

SG - all u need to do is decant the wine and let it breathe...it's the sulphur dioxide that needs to come out. The "SO2 Go" just speeds it up (and wrecks the wine IMHO) :)

Hi Amanda what ever it is in the wine that wakes me with rapid ticker is the prob. I dont drink white at all for that reason.I am thinking it maybe spray contaminants rather than sulphites.

Could be SG..u can get organic wine now :) I can't drink reds...unless they are made from the first pressing of the grapes. The more they squish them the worse that wine-headache gets...urgghh..
