jakfruit etiquette says... The overall opinion is no. It is a common question with Citrus. If the fruit are less sweet, or odd looking, it is often traced back to rootstock suckers. Are your oranges suddenly full of seed from cross pollination ?? Norbert starts with ... If I have a tree that's producing sweet tasting oranges will the accidental cross pollination with a neighbour's lemon tree make a for a less sweet tasting orange?
