I would like to know a bit more about this tree. Have read that it is pretty hardy, and an open tree. I wanted to know how easy they were to propagate... by seed, cuttings, air layering, ect...
Thanks

I have a Japanese Raisin tree. It may have been a Daleys one and I think it is grafted. After 2 years it is over 3m tall. It got some burning on its leaves that I think may have been due to the drought. It is little like a Maple tree. It has no flowers/fruit yet.
I have seen one growing in Canberra and it had fruit. They are deciduous. I took a cutting but it didn't grow.
I once lived in a place that had a tree that must have been 5-10 years old. It would have been about 5m tall. It produced loads of fruit and thousands of seeds. But not a single seedling grew naturally. I tried to sprout some seeds with no success.
I have seen seeds for sale on the www but I have no idea if they will sprout. Nor do I know how long it would take to produce fruits.
