Last efforts to save mango tree

    3 responses

Hi,

I transplanted a mango tree (for free as someone wanted it removed from the garden), now all leaves turned brown without falling down. I removed the leaves you can see in the other pictures (it is overgrown by some weed, its not the mango's leaves!) what are emergency measures to save the tree? it is in this state for some while, are there some pruning tricks to save it?

Probably beyond saving, try cutting 40 cm up the trunk see if it sprouts.
