Leaf drop

Help please,

In June last year I planted new peach and nectarines, sourched from an A grade supplier, bare root stock used and roots free and soread when planted, most have come on great but several and not all at once have been turning golden brown in the leaves and then dropping all the leaves.

When i feel the branchs or end tips they are still alive and do not snap although on one tree the end tips have died and snap off about 50 to 60 mm from the end

The attached photos show one which has lost all its leaves and the next one which has gone brown gold colour and is about to drop them

We are in a stone fruit area with lots of fruit farms so the area is ok (i think) The site is sloping and free draining and in the dry i do irrigate them. They have been give one dose of fertilizer about two months after planting.

Any ideas?

Thanks Paul

Your trees look fine to me. But when you buy these type of trees, when you plant or while still in the bag. Cut the back a third. There roots carnt handle the transplant well. Give the plants some seasol (seaweed extra) for now, the at the start of next season try some pot ash with your fertizer.
