I have had a loquat for some time now and it flowers profusely at the end of every spring but it refuses to set fruit; I was wondering if our humidity might be a problem, does anyone have any idea, please

The first thing you can try is using a fertilzer with high measure of potassium. It is well known for feulling growth of flowers and fruit of most plants.

I can only speak from my own experience in WA, but it seems out of sync to me. Loquats in WA are starting to flower now, and will fruit in September/October, early-mid spring.
Is it usual for them to flower at the end of spring in Queensland?
