Jellie Legs starts with ...
When the tree arrived it was in good health. Now after some 6 months there has been no progress in growth or flowers. The flowers that were on all fell of and the frute that and was on it are now soft to touch. It was planted in new fresh potting mix along with citrus fertliser. I added 20% coconut fibre to the mix. There has not been any root growth. Any comments will be appreciated.

Lots a lemon is a hard plant to grow well. Can you take a pic or two?

My experience with my tree is they flower profusely. Depending on tree health, some may even go to fruit, but they tend to get to pea sized and then fall off. Then some leaves fall and you wont see any improvement until the right season (next spring) or fertilisers are added.

My guess is your plant is too young to hold fruit and is a bit hungry. Lightly apply some dynamic lifter, ie say a small spoonful and in a month time, you should see some new shoots/ growth.

Sorry, but you only bought 1/2 a tree. The other issues arise from this.
Rooted cuttings take a matter of weeks for propagators ($$$).
A budded tree on a select rootstock takes 2+ years.

Don't confuse juvenile vigour with the hard facts.
Without exception, cutting grown citrus are inferior.
What resistance has a citrus cutting got against phytophora? Against virus transmitted by aphids? None, niente, nil. And the list goes on.
Kudos to Daleys for not selling them.
