My plant has plenty of fruit growing in a 9 litre bucket with a hole in the bottom for the roots to get down. It gets watered most days. The foliage flows downwards over a drop to one side. I have seen some doing well on raised beds. You can also train them along and up a trellis system. I dont know if there is a special pollenater required.

Hi Mike, my mother has them in her garden, she lives in Rivervale, they grow tall and as healthy as couch grass, they are just about indistructable plants, BUT as the old dear says! PLENTY PLENTY SHEEP MANURE and PLENTY PLENTY WATER! Sounds a little over the top to me, but an 80yo but you can't dispuite it when you see these plants have to be staked because they are 4ft tall and have fruit on them the size of decent orange on them for most of the year.
