Pineapple Guava

Scintilla starts with ...
I planted a pineapple guava in the ground here at Avoca beach about four years ago. Since then heaps of flowers but no fruit,
Any suggestions?

By "Pineapple Guava" do you mean Feijoa? If so I believe you need another tree to cross pollinate for fruit. Also some cultivars are more ornamental; i.e. for flowers rather than fruit.

MIne came from a seedling given to me by a friend. Has never fruited, though it does flowers. I just think of it as an ornamental shrub now.
